How do I open my vault?

Open the app (it shows your chosen disguise — Calculator, Weather, or Stopwatch), then enter your secret passcode the way you set it up (for the Calculator, type your code and press =). Unlock with Face ID or your passcode at the gate.

I forgot my passcode.

For your security, your passcode is never stored and cannot be recovered — it's what encrypts your photos. If it's lost, the vault's contents cannot be decrypted. Choose a code you'll remember.

What is the decoy passcode?

An optional second code you can set. If you're ever forced to open the app, entering the decoy code opens a separate, harmless album instead of your real vault.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

Only if you turn on optional sync. Even then, photos are encrypted on your device first and uploaded as ciphertext only — no one but you can read them. See our Privacy Policy.

How do I change my passcode or disguise?

Open the vault → Settings. You can change your passcode, switch the disguise, set a decoy code, and adjust auto-lock there.
